Screenshots & the gallery
Capture the ATS Mini’s display into your browser, manually or automatically after each change, view a session gallery, and save the images.
The app can grab the radio’s display and show it in the browser, handy for keeping a record of band conditions, settings, or an interesting screen.
Taking a screenshot
Press the screenshot button (or the C key) and the radio’s current screen appears in the app. Over USB this takes a second or two. Over Bluetooth it is much slower, around half a minute, because of how much data the wireless link can carry.
Auto-screenshot
Turn on Auto screenshot and the app captures the display after you change a setting, so the on-screen mirror stays in sync without you asking. For a multi-step change, say hopping several bands, it takes a single capture once the radio settles, rather than one per step.
The gallery
Captured screens collect in a session gallery of thumbnails, each with a timestamp; open any of them to view it full size and save it as an image file. The gallery keeps your most recent shots.
A couple of gotchas
- A screenshot won’t work while the radio’s screen is asleep, so wake it first. See Power management.
- Over Bluetooth, don’t fire many captures in quick succession; give each one time to finish.
Screenshots are a great way to show exactly what your radio is displaying when you ask for help in a community.
